Hedgeholme are pleased to announce that Buratino will be standing at the Stud for 2022.
Buratino was previously trained by Mark Johnstone. He was acknowledged as being a very smart 2yo; achieving a faster time than Pinatubo in the Woodcote and Calyx in the G2 Coventry.
Moving from Darley’s Kildangan Stud he is already the sire of 40 worldwide winners. These include the 3 Flat Stakes performers Snapraeterea, Run For Me and Macasai.
Buratino is the only son of EXCEED AND EXCEL in Britain, who was the leading Australian sprinter in 2003-4. At Stud, Darley have acknowledged that EXCEED AND EXCEL is the ultimate champion with progeny winning two Coolmore Stud Stakes (G1) and also proving successful in the sales ring.
